Hi, I'm Noémie, the creative mind and hands crafting geometric wood art.

Person with a red sweater leaning over a geometric wooden artwork against a blue sky.

Originally from France, I have called New Zealand home for the past ten years. With a background in graphic design for over a decade, I realised it was time to slow down and dive into something more rewarding and meaningful to me. My journey into art led me to discover the limitless potential of wood. Driven by a desire to create with my own hands and bring unique, earthy, and sustainable art into spaces, I started an exciting new path…

Each piece I create reflects my appreciation for the natural beauty of wood and my passion for patterns and geometry. I handcraft each piece with care, blending the warmth, grain, and texture of wood with my designs. The result is unique pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, sustainability, and the timelessness of wood, bringing a touch of natural beauty to any space.

My process involves using locally sourced timber and reclaimed materials whenever possible, breathing new life into each piece and minimising waste. I find great reward and fulfillment in this approach, knowing that I am not only creating something beautiful but also doing something positive for our planet by rescuing timber from going to landfill.

Last year, my family and I moved to Wānaka, nestled between majestic mountains and pristine lakes. It's an inspiring setting that fuels my passion for crafting pieces that reflect the natural beauty that surrounds me.

As both an artist and a designer, my work often straddles the line between art and functional design. Whether I'm creating a striking wall art piece or a practical household item, I like to blend artistic expression with practical use, creating pieces that serve a purpose in our homes.

If you're looking to add a unique, natural touch to your space with custom wood art, I’d love to hear from you. Let's bring your vision to life…
